Return and Refund Policy

Welcome to Thebackyarddirect.com! All our products come with a 12-month warranty, and replacements are covered under the same warranty. Plus, you can return items free of charge within 30 days of delivery, as long as they meet the return criteria. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us!

1. Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, please ensure the following:

  • The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • It’s returned in the original packaging, including all tags, labels, and accessories.

Please note: Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is defective or we made an error.

2. Refunds

We’ll process your refund as soon as we receive and inspect the returned item(s). Refunds will be issued to the original payment method you used for the purchase.

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days after we receive your return.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
  • If you used a discount or promo code, your refund will be based on the amount you actually paid.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us right away at support@thebackyarddirect.com with a photo of the issue. We’ll make things right by helping you with a return and sending you a prepaid return label at no extra cost.

4. Wrong Orders

If you accidentally ordered the wrong product, you can return it. However, you’ll need to cover the return shipping cost. To avoid this, please double-check your order details before completing your purchase.

5. Exchanges

We don’t currently offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different item, please return the original item following our return process, then place a new order for what you need.

6. Shipping Information

  • Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all orders within the United States.
  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 0-5 business days and take 5-10 business days to arrive after processing. Most deliveries are completed within 5-15 business days.
  • Order Cut-Off Time: Orders placed after 5:00 PM will be processed the next business day.

Please note: We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
